Maybe! Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 7 “The Bridge” ends with Kali and Eleven quietly agreeing to their plan to sacrifice their own lives in the final battle for the Upside Down. They exchange this vow with quiet, meaningful nods as the group officially enters the Upside Down.
We can all find out with the series finale of Stranger Things, releasing on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix. The episode will also screen in select theaters on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, if you want a big screen experience to close out the Stranger Things saga. ( Ahead of the animated spinoff, anyway!)
Stranger Things season 5 part 2 aired on Christmas, and these last three episodes were rather weak, including the sidelining of Eleven.
Volume 2 ended with Kali convincing El that the only way to truly stop the "cycle" of doctors trying to create an army of kids using their blood is for them to die. Specifically, for them to die when the group eliminates the Upside Down and Dimension X. And it looks like El has, unfortunately, bought into her plan.
Spoiler alert! Everything you need to know about "Stranger Things" Season 5 Episode 5, as we get closer to the end.
Is Kali a traitor in Stranger Things 5? Her dramatic plan for her and Eleven has left viewers suspicious about what she's up to.
It certainly seems like it, now that Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) has finally escaped Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) in the fifth and final season of "Stranger." By Episode 6 of the season, we have seen a lot of thumb-twiddling, with our characters running around in plot circles; maybe this episode's big ending is a sign that bigger things are coming?
Review: The explanations get complicated as the Hawkins campaign figures out a plan against Vecna in Stranger Things: Season 5, Vol. 2.
The Netflix hit brought back one of the show’s most divisive characters for a big, dark arc leading to the finale.
In the realm of popular television, few relationships resonate as deeply as that of Eleven and Jim Hopper in Stranger Things. Their bond, often fraught with misunderstandings and emotional turmoil, reflects a very real dynamic many can relate to in their own lives.
Heading into the Stranger Things finale, all signs seem to point to Vecna/Henry Creel being the series 'big bad.' The show's heroes have all united to go on one last mission to take him down in the penultimate episode, and his plan to kidnap 12 children and use them to merge Hawkins and the Abyss has been the focal point of season 5 thus far.
